Hi all! So today I am back with a look I created with I Heart Revolution's Tasty Avocado Palette. When I saw this palette on Ulta's website I was immediately intrigued. I love avocados and it looked fun! It's a very pretty green themed palette; full of mattes, glittery shimmers, and satins. I waited to see some reviews before purchasing. Overall the reviews were positive so I decided to go for it. I had actually had saved up tons of points from Ulta's point system so I essentially paid nothing for the palette, which made it even better!
Overall I am pleased with this palette. The shadows had good color payoff and lasted throughout the day. They applied smoothly and I didn't find them hard to blend out, even when applied on a tackier primer. In the video below is a look I did using the browns from this palette rather than the greens since everyone had pretty much done that already. I actually did one too, I had posted it on my Instagram and Facebook. I will add the pictures below as well, so this way a look using the green shadows is also showcased.
Posted below the video are the steps written out of the look I did featured in the video. I missed a few pictures, but I tried to add some when I could.
Step 1:
I used P.Louise base prime my eyes.
Step 2:
I applied the color Toast using a Morphe M514 brush onto my crease and socket area.
Step 3:
I added the color Seed to my crease using a Sigma E25 but kept closer to the mobile lid and outer v.
Step 4:
Using my finger I applied the color Mousse to the center of my mobile lid and into my crease slightly.
Step 5:
I used a pencil brush and applied the color Creamy to my brow line.
Step 6:
I added Tarte's Maneater Liner to my eyes and created a winged look.
Step 7:
I applied Too Faced's Better than Sex Mascara to my lashes.
Step 8:
I applied Urban Decay's 24/7 Gel Liner to my waterline.
Step 9:
I used a mini round brush and applied the color Stone under my lower lashes and followed up with Mascara.
Step 10:
Using a pencil brush I applied the color Smash to my inner corners for some sparkle.
Final product:
Here is the look I did using some of the green shadows:
I hope you enjoyed these looks! As always thanks for stopping by!
