Bright Lights

Hello all! I hope everyone is having a great summer! Today I stepped out of my comfort zone and did a video with me actually speaking. I'm still eh about it, my lighting, angles, and just how I go about things is still awful. However, I wanted to try it and see how it goes. I do find it kind of fun talking about what I am doing etc., but we shall see if this is something I continue.

This video is a kind of review/tutorial on the Pinky Rose Cosmetics Bright Lights Palette. This has been on my list of things I want to purchase for a while now. Since I pay for everything myself (I don't get PR or sponsorships) I have pick and choose what items I can get and what items need to stay on the for later list.

There are a few things I wanted to clarify;

1. When I was using the Ulta Primer I said set my eyes, I meant primed my eyes.

2. There were a few odd edits (I'm still trying to get the hang of it). This cut in particular is one I want to mention, when I originally swatched Cupcake I used my finger that had blue shadow on it and it made the swatch not a true example of the pressed glitter. So I cut it out and swatched it again, but my editing sucks so it's awkward.

3. There is a part in the video when I sped it up, I forgot edit out my talking so it's a little jumbled. I honestly was saying nothing important haha.

4. Also if you want to get drunk fast just take a shot every time I say "very nice", "totally" and "super" haha. I'm not used this whole recording myself thing so my speech is a little repetitive.

Overall I loved this palette. The colors are bright and fun. They are rich, blend smoothly and have a lot of color payoff. The glitters seemed decent, I didn't use them but they felt like they would apply easily without a lot or any fallout. I will add an update here when I do use the glitters. If you aren't into bold bright colors than this palette isn't for you, but if you are or are looking to get out of your comfort zone than I would highly recommend the Pinky Rose Bright Lights Palette. I'm really looking forward to purchasing items from this company in the future.
