I'm back and once again trying to figure out this filming thing haha. I'm still using a bad angle and lighting could be better but here is another go. I don't have like a setup or even a great place to record, so I will make it work somehow. I also have no desire to really speak in my videos, I hate the sound of my voice so I'll stick with just writing up what I did. I'm not a professional MUA by any means. I'm just a girl who loves her makeup, who honestly has so much fun playing around and wearing it that I just wanted to share what I create. Makeup may not last forever but pictures of it can ;)
For this little tutorial I used an oldie but a goody (well in my opinion) Anastasia Beverly Hills Sultry Palette. I started like I always do using my Ulta Primer and then setting it with a neutral color, I used Fresh from the palette this time. Then I went in using the bigger end of the brush that came with the palette and applied the color Bloom in my crease, but mainly focusing on my socket area. Once applied, I blended it out with a blending brush before applying the color Rose Quartz with a lightly wet flat shadow brush. I wet the brush with Mac Prep + Prime, I did this because I just feel it made the color go on better for me. To darken up the outer V I used my Sigma E25 and applied the color Dystopian. Again once applied I blended it out with a blending brush. To make Rose Quartz and Dystopian flow into on another better, I used my finger and added the color Teak between the two and blended them together. For a little highlight I applied the color Pearl to my brow bone and in the inner corners of my eyes.
To complete the look I added a Jonteblu black eyeliner to my upper lashline, Urban Decay Gel Liner to my waterline, using a Luxie mini round brush I applied Dystopian to my lower lashline and finished up with some mascara on my lashes. I'm pleased with how it came out. It might be a little much for some, but I wore it out shopping today. Well I hope you enjoyed this look. Please let me know if you have any tips on how I can improve my makeup application. I'm always looking for new ways to better myself.
