With St. Patrick’s Day on Sunday and me being Irish I decided to post a quick St. Patrick’s Day inspired eye look. It’s nothing out of the ordinary and yes it’s a little dark but I think it is totally wearable. I went to work with it on and then shopping and didn’t feel I was too done up.
For this look I used BH Cosmetic’s Zodiac Palette and J. Cat Pris-Metal Chrome Eye Mousse. So to start off I primed my eyes with Ulta’s Matte Primer and set it with a neutral eye color. I then used my Morphe M514 to apply a matte olive green color from the palette all over my crease.
I then went in with the color Sagittarius with a Sigma E25 brush. I blended that out along my lower crease line and on the outer corners of my lids. I then used a blending brush to remove any harsh lines between the two green colors.
I left the middle of my lid bare and using my finger I applied the J. Cat Pris-Metal Chrome Mousse in the color PEM101. To make the color change from green to iridescent white more seamless I used my finger again and applied the color Capricorn from the BH Palette on the outer sides of the J. Cat Mousse and blended it into Sagittarius and the mousse.
For some extra shine I used my Morphe M431 and applied the color Taurus (again from the BH Palette) to my brow line and my inner corner. I used the same matte olive green on earlier under my lower lash line and Urban Decay’s 24/7 Glide On Gel Liner in the color Mainline on my waterline. To completely finish the look off I applied a winged liner with a felt tip pen from Lottie London and applied mascara.
