Hello all! So it shouldn't be a shock that I am back with another makeup post. The look I will talking about today I created using Colourpop's Uh Huh - Honey Palette. I absolutely loved this palette when I saw it. Yellow is one of my favorite colors; it's so bright, positive and happy. So I had to have this! It only retails for $12.00 and it is worth every penny!
Colourpop in my opinion has been knocking it out of the park recently. Between the Misunderstood, Sweet Talk and all their monochrome palettes Coloupop has just not gone wrong. Oh of course we cannot forget their fun Super Shock Shadows, which are light and go on like a dream. Colourpop's makeup is affordable, yet great quality and this palette doesn't disappoint. The shadows in this palette had fantastic color payoff, blended out nicely and lasted throughout the day. I only had one slight issue with the glitter (Palooza) it creased a little, but not too bad. I've had other pressed glitters crease worse. Looking at me you couldn't really notice the creasing, but I did. Next time I might use a glitter glue and see if that helps. Anyway without any further rambling let's get into the eyeshadow look!
Step 1:
After applying my P. Louise primer I used a Morphe M514 and applied the color Oh Beehave to my crease and socket area.
Step 2:
Next using my Sigma E25 I applied the color Buzz Kill to my crease, but mainly focusing on my outer v.
Step 3:
I added the color Sunburst mixed with a little matte white (not from this palette, it was just a basic white) to my brow line with a pencil brush. I also added the color Stinger to the inner part of my mobile lid with a small flat shadow brush.
Step 4:
After making sure all the colors were blended out I applied Palooza with my finger to my mobile lid and little into my crease. Palooza is a pressed glitter so apply carefully onto the eye. I did experience a little fallout with this eye, but not the other one. I hadn't used it before so I wasn't as neat as I should have been.
Step 5:
I then used Tarte's Maneater Liner and added a winged line to my eye and followed up with Too Faced's Better than Sex on my lashes.
Step 6:
To finish up I used a small mini round brush and applied the color Dandy under my lower lashes and the color Sunburst to my inner corners. I also added Urban Decay's 24/7 Gel Liner in the color Mainline to my waterline. Of course finishing up with mascara.
Okay well that's it! I hope you liked it. If you do not have this palette you can always substitute with whatever you have that is close.
