I love sparkly, shiny and glittery things. I also love doing my makeup and I love that you can combine the two! For this Thanksgiving I decided to do a fun fall Thanksgiving inspired eye look that was full of sparkle and shine.
To start off I primed my eyes with Ulta's Matte Primer and set it with Sephora's Colorful Matte Shadow in the color Secret Boudoir.
Then I went in my crease using a Sigma E41 brush and added the color Mammoth from Shiro Cosmetics.
Shiro Cosmetics is one of my favorite companies. I've been buying from them for a few years now. Not only are they fairly priced and good quality, but they create lines inspired by geeky pop culture stuff like their Harry Potter inspired collection. Which of course makes me super excited!
Anyway, now back to my eyes. To add more color I used a Sigma E25 brush and went in with the color Gordon Ruby from Shiro Cosmetics on my crease focusing more on the lower part of it. I followed that up by applying the color Cauldron also from Shiro Cosmetics to my outer crease to add a little bit of a darker color using my Luxie 121 brush.
I then used a blending brush and blended the colors together making sure to diffuse and harsh lines. To lighten up under my brow, I added Mac's Snow Season shadow using a Morphe M431 brush. I then applied Milani's Hypnotic Lights Eye Topper in the color Luster Light to my lower lid to add the shimmer. Finishing up my lid I used Tarte's Maneater Liner to line my eyes and Clinique's High Impact Mascara.
On my lower lash line I used a Luxie 141 brush to apply the color cauldron. In my water line I used Urban Decay's 24/7 Glide Gel Pencil in the color Mainline. I followed that up by applying the Mac shadow my my inner eye using the same Morphe brush I mentioned earlier, then finally completing the look by added mascara to my lower lashes.
I loved the way it came out! I know it's not perfect, but eh nothing is. Not only was this look fun to create, it was also affordable. Everything I used cost under $25. I believe the most expensive product was the Urban Decay liner which retails for $21. Well that's it! I hope you enjoyed this look. Please let me know your thoughts below in the comments.
