I know I’m a little late, but I finally got my hands on the Anastasia Beverly Hills Sultry Palette. My immediate first reaction to it was glitter! The packaging is so sparkly, I love it. Once I opened the palette itself, I was not disappointed. The colors are really nice, a good mix of mattes and shiny shadows. The colors all swatched decently on my arm and they appeared to be pretty pigmented.
To really test the shadows, I of course had to create a look with them. So first after

priming my eyes, I set them with the color Fresh. Just lightly swept the color over my primer with a brush. Then I went in with Birch on my crease, with a Morphe M514 brush. I built up the color and then blended it out with a blending brush. To give my eyes a pop of color I went in on my crease again with the color Bloom using Morphe M321 brush. Once again building color and blending out the harsh lines. For my lid I used a Morphe M522 brush with the color Rose Quartz. I added Pearl to my brow line and in the corners of my eye. I then lined my eyes with a blue pencil and blended Bloom and Birch under my lash line. I then just finished up with eyeliner and mascara. I’m pretty happy with it. I’m not an expert, but I think it looks nice.

Overall, I feel the palette is lovely. The colors were pigmented, they blended out decently, not too much fallout and I didn’t find them patchy (well the colors I used). If you really like browns this a great palette to add to your collection. I wouldn’t say it boasts the most variety in colors that I’ve ever seen in a palette, but it’s decent. I don’t know if this would be my favorite palette ever or even just from ABH, but it’s definitely up there. If you went somewhere and this is all you had with you, I do think you could create a few different looks that would match casual or fancy. I personally love browns and I can never have too many shades of it, so this worked well for me and I will get a lot of use out of it. This is a purchase I do not regret. So Sultry it is.

I know my swatch skills need work lol. I also need a better camera, but that's another story.
